Lane,
I just wanted to say that I got my CETMArack in the mail today, and it looks,
fits, feels,
and works great! The best errand I could come up with to test it out was
to get two bags
of groceries, a bunch of supplies from the hardware store, and a pile of toilet
paper.
As far as my two hours with it have gone, it works beautifully! Also, the peanut
butter cookie
from Cara was exceptionally tasty and nice - especially given that my fiance and
I would have
had to give it away had it not been vegan :) Good luck with your
by-all-accounts-burgeoning
bicycle rack (and cargo bike?) business, and I'll be sure to send more customers
your way
whenever I can.

"yo man,
i bought one of your racks about 9 months ago it's been invaluable.
i don't know how other people live without one. i recently got a job working
nights
with a food delivery service where your rack has been helping me pay the bills.
next bike i get will get another rack! i hope business is going good."

"it finally arrived and i love it!!!!! i love how riding a
bike just gets more and more awesome.
much love. to celebrate the good life, i carried home 31 pounds of fine oregon
beer from work."

"recap on the 7 rail:
so i believe i've had this for about 2 or 3
or so months now, and this has been the outcome.
my weekly paychecks have been consistently over $100 more than pre-cetma rack.
two fellow messengers, and FIVE commuter/utilitarians in line to order a rack
from you (i believe most have ordered already).
3 or 4 people staring at the rack like bike porn A DAY!
my bob trailer will go up for sale come spring time.
once again, thanks!"

"i
ordered a bike rack from CETMAracks
a little while ago and it just arrived today. it is amazing...
sturdy, stylish and functional.
...this
feels so so so much better than my last basket. not only is it about a
scrillion times stronger,
it keeps the weight lower which makes for a smoother, safer ride. trust
me, it's scientific.
in closing, i strongly encourage
every bicyclist to ditch his or her sexy, but ultimately orthopedic
injury inducing messenger bag and invest in a CETMArack.
it's a scientifically proven fact that this rack will make your life
more awesome.
OK, fine. you can keep the bag.
just carry the heavy stuff up front."

"I have about a 4 1/2 mile commute
through San Francisco, and I like to carry 5 to 10 lbs
of stuff with me
everywhere (bike tools, paperwork, U-Lock, clothes for the gym, raingear etc.).
My shoulders were always tense from carrying this stuff in a backpack, so I
started looking at panniers.
Eventually I got a heavy-duty CETMA front rack..."
"...I strap my backpack to it with a bungy,
and if I ever want to pick up groceries or something,
I put the backpack on, and bungy the groceries to the rack. Sweet."

Lane,
"I just wanted to let you know that I've been very satisfied with my
powdercoated 5-rail.
A couple weeks ago some friends and I rode out to Sauvie Island (in North
Portland)
to pick vegtables. As you can imagine, we came back with a handful of stuff,
nearly all of which was schelped on the rack. There was at least 20lbs worth of
butternut
squash alone. I'm sure this anecdote is a mere blip compared to some of the
crazy stories
you've heard by now, but just wanted to share. I've already been
enviously eyeing the 7-rail with the fence, but alas I have no other bike to put
it on."

"Yes, I’ve joined the ranks of the one’s
rolling the front racks by the name of CETMA.
These things are great, so far I’ve hauled a couple boxes of magazines, pretty
heavy, but the rack rocked.
Props to CETMA creator, I love being so utilitarian. I used the eyelets on my
fork with a bunch of spacers
and washers for a solid fit."
"The first thing I carried with it were a couple of boxes of fragile glassware,
a little sketch considering
the result were I to crash or lose my load. But the rack and the cargo net I put
on it worked awesome,
no busted rocks glasses, no angry fiancé; win-win!"
Good stuff. Thanks CETMA

"8-Rail baby! This
puppy has carried the following for me: 3 18 packs of Pabst; countless
bike messengers (one at a time of course); Bike Polo assistant (he was in charge
of the mallet);
4 bags of groceries; My completely full messenger bag; My hopes and dreams;
My feet (when I'm coasting downhill)! Nice work Lane! Everyone should have a
bike with a CETMA on it!!"

"hello, the seven rail kicks ass! I've
hauled a bike in a box to a friend,
got 5o pounds of produce, carried a few people, and, and and, YEAH!!
I love this thing, it's so much easier than toting around a bob for work,
and the fact that i can see what I'm carrying is paramount. I currently
have the 7 rail on a pursuit frame which is actually perfect, because it
lowers the item in front of me, so I can see over it (about 2 1/2 inches or
so). and if i want to take the rack off , I just pull the bars off, and switch
them. sure have to use a straight bar to maximize load size, but that's no
biggy.
again, I LOVE THIS THING THANKS!!!"

"after changing cities, i left behind
the world of bike messaging for the even more underdog
and unflattering subculture of bicycle food delivery. how far i have
sunk..anyway, the transition
for the most part was pretty smooth, except i've always fucking hated using
racks and was
suddenly dealing with deliveries that had to be kept upright to prevent spilling
crap all over
the road and couldn't just be balanced haphazardly on my handlebars or thrown
into a bag.
to cut to the chase, i ended up ordering one of your racks last month and use it
every day for
work now. it's easily the lightest weight, least annoying thing i've ever bolted
onto my front wheel
and doesn't make steering into a nightmare. because of you, i am slightly less
likely to
end up a mess of blood, guts, wingsauce, soda and sandwich condiments on the
street.
thanks! i also get asked ever other day it seems where i got the thing. i hope
you get
flooded with customers. you do great work."

Just got my 6-rail, put it on right away, and I
already love it!!! It's fantastic!!!!!!!!!

"Get a Cetma rack for the front, and
you can haul all your groceries for a month on that beast."
-someone on bikeforums.net
"I'm really enjoying my
C.E.T.M.A. rack. local, affordable, courier-tested."
-Someone on Craigslist
"It's very nice having the CETMA rack on my
main city bike, to be able to spontaneously grab and carry
weird, bulky items. I've carried suitcases, boxes of groceries, kitty litter,
sacks of cat food, weird bulky
bike parts, my laundry, my Bailey Bag... it's a fantastic addition.
I've mounted my headlight on one of the fork legs, where it's protected by one
of the rack stays
and still functional when carrying cargo on the rack. "
